Jermaine Reed, MFA has a bachelor’s degree in English Professional Technical Writing with a concentration in Print Journalism. He also has a master’s degree in Creative Writing. Jermaine has been the editor in chief of TheReedersBlock.com for nearly a decade. As an educator, Jermaine has worked for the City Colleges of Chicago and Morton College. He has written over 14 books and continues to be a strong voice for equity in education.
In addition to writing, educating and researching, Jermaine is skilled in communication, content management and marketing.
When Jermaine is not working, he volunteers with Mentor, Teacher, Brother, Inc. to provide mentorship to at-risk youth in the City of Chicago.
